Choosing what to wear to work can really make or break your morning. Personally, I try my best to always pick an outfit out the night before so there is one less thing to worry about when the alarm goes off at 6am.
Someone people absolutely despise looking for clothes and I am not one of them. Having a quick browse on my favourite sites for a good bargain or a new trend somehow relaxes me. Since I am trying to save, I am very, and I mean VERY picky about what I purchase. I can’t even think of the last time I went into a store and purchased an outfit without researching it and looking at all my options.
Seeing as so many people don’t find joy in shopping I thought I would start posting about great fashion finds I come across for office looks, workwear, business attire, whatever you like to call it.
So here we go, the first edition of The Organised Hustler’s style series.

Pants: ASOS design pull on tapered black pants in jersey $36
The best thing about these pants, after the price is that they also are stocked in the tall and petite range as well for the exact same price. For $36 you can not go wrong.
I love a high-waisted pant for work personally because I tend to always tuck my shirts or tops in. A fitted yet comfortable pair of black work pants needs to be a staple in all wardrobes.
Shirt: Zara shirt blouse with pockets $69.95
Having a few staple comfortable shirts to wear to the office is a necessity in all work wardrobes. I love this shirt because it works with tailored pants and a pencil skirt but also with jeans on casual Friday or some cute white shorts for a Sunday brunch.
Adding a pop of colour to your outfit can change the entire mood of your day.
The shirt comes in size XS – XL.
Shoes: Wittner – Liona Black Leather Pointed Toe Mid Heel $160
These heels are a little on the pricey side but trust me they are a good investment.
A simple, COMFORTABLE work heel is a must. I have had one of my Wittner work block heels for almost 3 years now and they are still in a great condition. I am always getting compliments on them.
This pair has a 6cm heel which gives you that perfect bit of height but are still small enough not to make you cry from pain after 10 hours in them.
This pair is also available in tan and navy.
Watch: The Horse – The Resin $159
If you haven’t seen The Horse watches yet you are in for a real treat. They are absolutely stunning and high quality. I love a watch as an accessory more than to use to tell the actual time. My phone is generally in my hand or I am staring at a computer screen so my watch’s main objective is to look amazing. I don’t wear much jewellery to work on a daily basis so my watch is the only accessorizing I do.
This beautiful watch also comes in 4 other designs (have a look at the pink & gold too).
At the time of writing this the Iconic has it for 20% off which includes free shipping and free returns!
Bag: ASOS Rains MSN large backpack $118
Now you might be thinking why would I wear a backpack to my office? Well for one, they are a million times better for your back/neck especially if you have a decent commute to work and don’t get a seat (which is everyday for a lot of us).
This stylish backpack is perfect for blending into all your looks for the week and its not chunky and overbearing like your typical sports backpacks. It’s the perfect size to fit your lunch, laptop and gym clothes.
ASOS offers free shipping and returns.
Glasses: Quay Australia – Cryptic Blue Light Lenses $70
If you don’t wear prescription glasses and your staring at a screen all day you need to get some blue light glasses.
Blue light from screens can cause headaches, blurry vision, and eye strain. After having lasik eye surgery, I was under the impression my days of wearing glasses were well and truly over. Its been a couple of years since my operation and my eyes started to get strained early in my work day. After going to the optometrist they recommended getting some blue light glasses and I can confirm they do make a difference. My eyes don’t seem to get as tired when I am staring at screens all day.
These beautiful frames come in a tort style as well and are currently 20% off on the Iconic with the free shipping and returns thrown in as well.
